How many people can the room hold?
250 is our maximum for sit down. 350 standing.

Can we just stop by and take
a look?
No, appointments are necessary to view the space.
Day and evening appointments can be arranged.

Do you supply the caterer?
The Terrace on Grand has a fantastic in-house option, taste catering.
Outside caterers are welcome.

Do you have tables and chairs?
Yes, our tables and chairs are included in the rental price.

What size are your dining
tables?
60 inch rounds/ maximum 9 seats each.

Do you supply bartenders?
Yes, client must use Terrace bartenders.
Please see fact sheet for fees.

Do you have linens, dishware and glassware?
The Terrace does not have linens or dishware. We supply glassware
for the bar. This does not include coffee, tea or water glassware.
The caterer traditionally supplies dishware and linens.

Do you have parking?
Yes parking is included in rental price across
the street in the KC Star Parking lot.

Can we bring our own liquor?
No, The Terrace has a full liquor
license and supplies all liquor.

What are bar costs?

Do you have an on site consultant?
No, but we have many we can highly recommend.

Do you allow bands and DJ’s?
Yes, bands and DJ’s are welcome on the main floor.
Bands and DJ’s are not permitted on roof deck.
Roof deck music
includes cd’s, ipod and acoustic instruments.

Do all guests pay the bar
package prices?
Everyone over 21 is included and required to pay the bar pricing.
Under 21 is $7.00 per guest.

How much time do we get for our event?
All receptions are 5 hours, 6 hours with ceremony.

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

What is your reserve wine
and champagne wall?
The Terrace offers a wonderful selection of fine wines, champagnes
and cigars on top of our bar packages, offered at every event
at fantastic prices.

Do you have valet parking?
We have valet parking at an additional cost. Our parking is
less then a block away.

Do we set up tables and chairs?
No, The Terrace sets up and breaks down the room. The caterer
and florist dress the tables.

Does the room require decorating?
No, the classy urban elegant design along with our state of
the art lighting makes every event look terrific and unique.
Additional decorations are allowed, within contractual rules.

Can we do a specialty drink?
Yes, specialty drinks and special orders are available at
an extra cost.

Can we smoke?
Smoking is only allowed on roof deck. Cigars are welcome there
too.
